Welcome to the Oakton College Scholarship Application for the 2024-2025 School year.

Who can apply?
• Any Degree or Certificate seeking student at Oakton College.
• Undocumented and International students are eligible to apply.
• We also have scholarships for current Oakton students who will be graduating and plan to transfer to a four-year institution in 2024-25.

Step 1: Complete the General Application
Click the ‘Sign In’ button on the top right-hand corner. Click the “Sign-in with your institution’ button and login using your myOakton username and password, if you are not already logged in. You will be automatically directed to the General Application. You must have a current admissions application on file with Oakton College. Once you are in the system, you can submit a General Application. You will be automatically considered for all scholarships for which you meet the criteria. Students who are offered a scholarship will be sent an email to their Oakton student email.

Step 2: Additional Scholarship Opportunities
Based on your answers to the General Application you may be recommended to apply to other scholarship applications. You must answer the supplemental questions and submit additional information to apply to these additional opportunities.

Dates to Keep in Mind:
• March 29th: Deadline for high school scholarships.
• May 15th: Preference is given to current/returning Oakton students who submit their completed application by this date.
• Early July: Students will be notified if they have been awarded a scholarship. Will need to accept or decline in their myOakton.

Only students who receive scholarships are notified through their Oakton email. If you have not received an email you have not been awarded a scholarship. Scholarships are awarded throughout the academic year.

If you receive a scholarship, you will be required to submit a written thank you letter and may be requested to attend the Oakton Donor Recognition Banquet in the fall. Details to follow from the Educational Foundation in the fall.
